Structure

The organizations participating in the BIOTECH project are:

• Specialised Science and Technology Meeting (RECyT, Reunión Especializada en Ciencia y Tecnología), representing the MERCOSUR.

• Biotechnology Development Support Committee (CADB, Comisión de Apoyo al Desarrollo de las Biotecnologías). This committee works within the RECyT and is responsible for strategic decisions in the project. It is made up of three representatives from each MERCOSUR country from the private, public and academic sectors.

• European Commission Delegation to the MERCOSUR, based in Montevideo and representing the European Union.

• National Office of International Relations of the Argentinian Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation as Executive Agent under the authority of the RECyT.
